Devops Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource usage.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef/Puppet.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to support build and deployment processes.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI.
  • Ensure smooth integration and deployment processes, including testing, staging, and production environments.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
  • Proactively monitor the system to identify potential bottlenecks and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure that software is built and deployed consistently and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with security teams to implement best practices and ensure that infrastructure complies with security standards.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of infrastructure, tooling, and processes to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our software development lifecycle.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in DevOps, automation, and cloud technologies.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab.
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with microservices and serverless architecture.
  • Knowledge of networking, security protocols, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Experience with automating security and compliance tasks.
  • Certification in cloud platforms (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, etc.).
