DevOps Engineer - LATAM

We’re looking for a proactive and technically skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll support both internal and customer-facing projects, manage Atlassian Cloud tools, and help shape the future of our DevOps infrastructure. We are only considering candidates currently based in Argentina for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

1. DevOps Support 

• Respond to DevOps requests across internal and external projects 
• Troubleshoot and resolve process issues in the DevOps environment 
• Build and support Docker containers 
• Develop and maintain Bitbucket Pipelines for CI/CD 

2. Customer Provisioning 

• Provision new customers on our platforms with seamless integration 

3. Project Involvement 

• Assist in migrating from Atlassian Datacenter to Atlassian Cloud 
• Support internal environment realignments and cleanup 
• Contribute to ISO/SOC certification readiness 
• Help plan and build deployment processes for future products 

4. Documentation & Collaboration 

• Create and maintain detailed documentation of systems and processes 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations 
• Continuous Improvement 
• Work with leadership to identify and implement system/process enhancements 

Qualifications:

• 3+ years as a DevOps engineer or administrator in an Atlassian environment (preferred) 
• Hands-on experience with Atlassian Cloud (Jira, Bitbucket) 
  
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes 

Technical Skills Required:

• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) 
• Familiarity with Linux terminal, VS Code, and Git 
• Experience with Bitbucket Pipelines 
• Scriptrunner/Groovy scripting 

Soft Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication in English
• Excellent problem-solving and time management 
• Self-starter with a proactive mindset 
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setup 
• Detail-oriented and highly organized 
• Adaptable and eager to learn 

Certifications:

• Atlassian and/or DevOps certifications are a plus 

Preferred:

• Knowledge of SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry, Kyma 
• Programming in Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
