Who We're Looking For: 

We are looking to hire a Mid-to-Senior Level DevOps Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud engineering and will employ modern DevOps practices to improve our development team’s productivity and system reliability.

Problem-solving is key to the ability to utilize creative and innovative thinking. Rather than include the same old boring job description, here is a list of tasks the prospective employee may be asked to accomplish and/or attributes the candidate should possess.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and SAM
• Automate deployments and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Develop Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and system integrations
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with development teams to streamline deployments
• Implement automation frameworks for security, performance, and availability
• Analyze infrastructure performance and suggest improvements
• Collaborate with team members to improve engineering tools, policies, and procedures
• Gather and aggregate logs and metrics into actionable insights

Some Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of professional cloud engineering or DevOps experience
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS, SAM, and GitHub Actions
• Proficient in Python scripting
• Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code and cloud architecture principles
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation best practices

Compensation Package (Salary Transparency for US Based Employees):

• Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000

Other Information

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
