Devops Engineer

We are looking for a talented Devops Engineer to join our team and contribute to ongoing and upcoming projects.  

 As a Devops Engineer, you will work as an expert across Banking Application implementation projects. You will have the opportunity to work close to our clients, in order to understand their requirements and to translate them to functional specifications. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Implement, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins to automate quality checking of Git-managed source code, building, packaging, deployment and unit/integration testing of application modules on various technologies. Underlying platforms include Linux, IBM AIX, Windows, OpenShift container management. 
  • Use Jenkins scripted and parameterized pipelines and Jenkins integrations (with Git, Sonarqube, docker, OpenShift, LiquiBase, Database, Microservices, Newman-Postman and a multitude of plugins). 
  • Implement and enhance web tools that automate and simplify routine release management, application management, data management tasks. Configure and maintain health-checking and monitoring tools and dashboards using Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack. 

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or other relevant disciplines. 
  • Proven experience of at least 3 years of implementation in any of the above. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a distributed team adhering to strict deadlines and challenging targets. 
  • Excellent command of the English language (written & verbal) 
  • Analytical thinking with problem-solving abilities 
  • Fulfilled military services obligations (if applicable) 

It will be considered as an asset: 

  • Good understanding of RedHat Enterprise Linux, administration experience 
  • Good knowledge and bash/corn/other unix shell scripting 
  • Comfortable with scripting in python or another popular scripting language 
  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
