DevOps Engineer (Grafana) (REF4291S)

Department and Project 

This position is within the Tolling Services team of Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary. The team consists of IT professionals specializing in electronic road-charging solutions. Together with our partners, we develop and operate intelligent, kilometer-based tolling systems for international customers, covering the entire business process (vehicle registrations, country booking, providing On-Board Units, position data transmission, charge calculation, and fleet billing). Leveraging digital intelligence and advanced technology, our tolling solutions facilitate seamless mobility across Europe. The team aims to enhance existing services and expand into new domains. As part of an international team collaborating with T-Systems International, you will play a key role in supporting our customers with cutting-edge tolling solutions.

Main tasks 

As a DevOps engineer you

• Install, configure, and administer Grafana Enterprise
  • Utilize advanced Grafana features: Alerting, RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), Grafana Scenes, YAML provisioning
  • Integrate metrics tools: Prometheus and Thanos
• Develop and integrate Python-based forecasting/machine learning models into Grafana
• Set up and maintain Grafana Enterprise and related integrations

Daily Tasks:

• Plan and execute backlog items
• Participate in team meetings
• Troubleshoot issues and handle support tickets
• Provide user assistance and support
• Integrate various data sources
• Build predictive analytics models using time-series data
• Maintain and improve Grafana dashboards
• Write and update technical documentation
• Monitor system health and performance
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and policies

Background and required skills: 

• Education/Experience: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT, or relevant work experience.
• Communication Skills: Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Grafana Enterprise:         

• Hands-on experience in installation, configuration, dashboard development, data source integration and API usage in Grafana
• Proficient in using Grafana’s advanced features
• Familiar with Thanos/Prometheus
• Experience with setting up, configuring, and managing of Grafana features (e.g, Grafana Scenes)

Predictive Analytics:                   

• Experience in setting up, configuring, and managing Grafana scenes.
• Practical experience in creation of forecasting visualizations in Grafana

Advantage: 

• Experience working in SAFe environment. 
• Linux/Red Hat Enterprise Linux:
• Basic knowledge in using of Helm Charts and Argo CD.
