Our client is a next-generation decentralized trading platform built for serious traders seeking institutional-grade execution, ultra-low latency, and Ethereum-level security. As a pioneering based rollup decentralized exchange optimized for high-performance trading and deep liquidity, the company delivers millisecond-speed trade execution, verifiable on-chain settlement, and capital-efficient markets across perps, spot, staking, and RWA products.
We are scaling our engineering and operations teams to support a platform that must operate reliably at the intersection of DeFi and TradFi performance, with near-zero downtime, heavy automation needs, and global impact.
As a DevOps Engineer at Reya, you’ll be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our high-throughput trading platform. You’ll work closely with backend, platform, security, and SRE teams to ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of critical production services that must meet stringent uptime guarantees.
This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in fast-paced environments, understand trading systems, and are passionate about infrastructure that supports real-time financial applications with demanding SLAs.
Build and operate cloud infrastructure primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP); AWS experience is also valued.
Manage Kubernetes clusters, using tools like Helm and Terraform for infrastructure as code and deployment automation.
Collaborate with engineering teams to design, deploy, and support scalable back-end services.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation for code delivery, environment provisioning, and rollbacks.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize systems to deliver high performance and reliability under load.
Ensure near-zero downtime deployments with seamless rollback strategies.
Support and tune databases at scale, as well as messaging and streaming systems such as Redis Streams and Kafka (or similar).
Drive proactive operational excellence: monitoring, alerting, incident response, and performance tuning.
Introduce and champion best practices for secure, resilient infrastructure and operational tooling.
5+ years professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or similar infrastructure-focused engineering roles.
Strong expertise with GCP, with additional experience on AWS is a plus.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, and related IaC tooling.
In-depth knowledge of databases at scale, queuing/messaging systems, and streaming platforms.
Comfortable and experienced operating in environments with near-zero downtime requirements.
Familiarity with financial and/or trading systems, particularly where latency, throughput, and uptime are critical.
Strong automation mindset with experience in CI/CD tooling and pipeline development.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Security-focused, with practical experience embedding operational security best practices.
Experience in DeFi, blockchain infrastructure, or high-frequency trading environments.
Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
Prior experience building infrastructure for latency-sensitive systems.
Work at the cutting edge of on-chain trading infrastructure that spans DeFi and TradFi performance expectations.
Be part of a small, highly technical team where your impact is direct and significant.
Flexible remote work with a European timezone focus.
Competitive compensation and strong growth opportunity.
