We are looking to engage a competent and experienced DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for Applications Management, Software Development, exploring Technologies such as AI & Hyper-automation and server as the IT Business Management process lead. In addition, He or She would also mentor citizen developers in Low/No-code tools development. The job scope covers service management activities, Cloud operational landscapes with many integration points; and the integration of the interdependent services of diverse internal and external service providers into end-to-end services which deliver value to Daystar from the Lagos - Nigeria office.

Job summary:
The DevOps Engineer will cover many software engineering domains – Cloud, Software development, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) and manage associated Operational Risks and Controls.
The job holder would be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical systems and services. This role combines software engineering principles with operational expertise to automate processes, improve system resilience, and maintain high availability across cloud and on-premises environments.
The job holder will be involved in building and operating comprehensive tools, platforms and infrastructure, playing a crucial part in supporting and enhancing the digital fabric of Daystar. He or She will utilize skills and passion to drive innovation and reliability in our digital operations whilst collaborate with team members to ensure the organization retains critical control points and technical knowledge, avoiding over-reliance on suppliers.
A key requirement would be the ability to enable unlocking of value for the business through exploitation of Asset, Finance and general Business data utilizing Technologies such as AI & Hyper-automation.
