Overview

We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in containerization, particularly Docker. This role focuses on building scalable, reliable and automated infrastructure solutions across cloud and virtualized environments. You will play a key role in shaping CI/CD pipelines, managing container ecosystems and supporting modern DevOps practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and manage containerized environments with a primary focus on Docker

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting application deployment and infrastructure automation

  • Implement best practices for container orchestration, packaging and lifecycle management

  • Manage infrastructure across cloud and virtualized platforms, ensuring high availability and reliability

  • Automate operational workflows using scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell

  • Collaborate with development, QA and platform teams to support continuous delivery efforts

  • Administer and optimize storage, virtualization or networking components as part of DevOps operations

  • Monitor system performance, respond to incidents and drive root-cause analysis

  • Maintain documentation around processes, architectures and operational standards

  • Contribute to ongoing DevOps maturity efforts, tooling improvements and automation initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, site reliability engineering or related infrastructure roles

  • Deep expertise with Docker including building, managing and optimizing containers at scale

  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools, deployment automation and infrastructure-as-code practices

  • Proficiency with Python, PowerShell or similar scripting languages

  • Solid understanding of cloud services (Azure preferred), networking fundamentals and virtualization concepts

  • Hands-on experience supporting production systems in enterprise environments

  • Strong troubleshooting abilities with a focus on performance, scalability and reliability

  • Ability to work collaboratively across engineering, development and operations teams

Nice to Have / Equivalent Experience

  • NetApp or comparable enterprise storage systems

  • Azure cloud services or equivalent cloud providers (AWS, GCP)

  • VMware or similar virtualization platforms

  • Experience with Kubernetes, Nomad or other orchestration tools

  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging platforms (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)

  • Exposure to secrets management, configuration management or infrastructure automation tools (Vault, Ansible, Terraform, etc.)

  • Experience designing scalable infrastructure patterns that mirror these technologies’ use cases
