Job Responsibilities
At Trafilea, you won’t just manage infrastructure—you’ll architect and scale the systems behind a $1B+ global e-commerce platform, processing billions of data points and powering high-growth consumer brands.
We’re looking for a DevOps (Cloud Engineer) Lead to own our cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and DevOps/DataOps strategy end-to-end.
Architect and scale AWS infrastructure (S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, Lambda, ECS)
Lead Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/Terragrunt
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for high-velocity deployments
Design and evolve ETL pipelines and data platform architecture
Drive containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Establish observability: monitoring, logging, alerting
Ensure security, compliance, and cost-efficient cloud operations
Lead incident management and improve system reliability
Define DevOps/DataOps standards across teams
Mentor engineers and elevate technical excellence
Requirements
7+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering, with at least 2+ years in a Lead or Senior role
Proven track record designing and scaling AWS infrastructure in high-traffic, production environments
Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Terragrunt) in complex, multi-environment setups
Deep experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable deployments
Hands-on experience with data architecture and ETL pipelines at scale
Advanced scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and reliability engineering principles
Experience leading architecture decisions, incident management, and system reliability improvements
Proven ability to mentor engineers and raise the bar of DevOps/DataOps practices across teams
Nice to have:
Experience with modern data stack (dbt, Airflow, Snowflake)
Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization strategies
Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure or AI-assisted development tools
