Development Lead (JavaScript/TypeScript) – US Remote (EST Hours)

Location: US Remote (Must work EST hours)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pod Development Lead (10–15 years). This is a remote role requiring full overlap with Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.

As a Pod Lead, you will lead a development team, help guide priorities, ensure alignment to agile processes, and contribute technically to a modern web application platform.

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily development efforts and manage task prioritization for a cross-functional pod.

• Ensure team adherence to agile best practices and maintain JIRA boards.

• Unblock team members by identifying and resolving technical and process challenges.

• Contribute to architecture discussions, documentation, and technical design.

• Collaborate with developers, QA, designers, and business analysts in a fast-paced agile environment.

Required Technical Skills

• 10–15 years of professional experience in software development.

• Strong proficiency with TypeScript and JavaScript.

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Next.js (Page Router and App Router – legacy support ongoing)

  • React Router 7 (new implementation phase)

  • React

  • CSS (Bootstrap and custom styles)

  • Jest (unit testing)

Preferred/Bonus Skills

• Experience with Web Components and Federated Web Components.

• Familiarity with NPM-packaged shared components.

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and AWS.

• Experience using tools like Jira, Git, or SVN.

Lead Expectations

• Guide day-to-day dev team priorities and task management.

• Assist in technical direction and decision-making.

• Maintain visibility into team progress and timelines.

• Support documentation efforts and share knowledge across teams.
