Destination Management Administrator - Rugby World Cup 2027

We are looking for an experienced Destination Management Administrator to join our team in Pretoria.

This is a contract position, available immediately until the end of November 2027.

This role is for an experienced person who has knowledge in handling group requests for Destination Management Services.

The candidate will report to the 2IC, who is responsible for the Rugby World Cup 2027 project.

What We’re Looking For

The candidate should be:

  • Able to work under pressure and be able to multi-task
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Able to work with a team and assist with sourcing services according to the requirements of the project.
  • Have a good financial understanding.
  • Able to interpret contracts and manage risk.

Requirements

  • Must have experience in working with land arrangements for large booking volumes.
  • Source and contract ground services (Transfers, Restaurants, Excursions and any other ground-related services)
  • Work with our ground agent, ensuring that precise requirements are requested and quoted.
  • Manage all pricing, contracts and allocations related to ground services.
  • Ensure that all services sourced are of a high standard and meet our project requirements.
  • Manage all ground service requests from quoting, booking and operations.
  • Ensure that all ground services are accurately loaded into our booking system (Tariffs, product descriptions, payment terms)
  • Ability to load multiple travel-related services in our booking system.
  • Prepare and send our suppliers updates on all services booked.
  • The candidate must be tech savy and have the ability to work in our different systems
  • Operating efficiently and using automated processes where possible.
  • Excellent understanding of the importance of data accuracy, and workflow compliance.
  • Hands-on, action-oriented, and willing to jump in wherever needed.
  • Outstanding attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to think ahead, plan effectively.
  • Positive, engaging attitude.
