Location: Austin, TX
Schedule: Full-time | Hybrid (2–3 days in office)
Reports to: Product Leadership

As a Designer I, you will be a hands-on contributor responsible for shaping high-quality, user-centered product experiences. You will partner closely with Product and Engineering to translate customer needs and product strategy into clear, usable, and visually compelling designs that are ready for execution.

This role is focused on strong craftsmanship, collaboration, and preparation. You will help ensure teams enter delivery cycles with well-defined, validated designs that elevate the customer experience.

What You’ll Do

Partner with Product Leaders and Product Owners to prioritize and shape design work across one or more products

Translate product strategy and customer insights into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs

Participate in and support customer-facing design sprints to validate concepts, workflows, and usability

Prepare design assets, specifications, and acceptance-ready artifacts ahead of quarterly planning

Collaborate closely with Engineering to ensure designs are feasible and implemented with high quality

Apply and contribute to shared design systems, component libraries, and reusable patterns

Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate ideation, prototyping, synthesis, and iteration

Continuously evaluate and improve existing experiences with a focus on clarity, usability, and visual quality

Participate in design critiques and contribute to raising the overall design bar

What You’ll Bring

3 to 5 years of UX, UI, or product design experience

A strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered thinking, visual craftsmanship, and design quality

Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, libraries, and shared systems

Experience working closely with engineers in an agile product development environment

Hands-on experience supporting or participating in design sprints

Strong understanding of usability principles, accessibility standards, and modern UX best practices

Ability to clearly communicate design decisions and advocate for customer needs

High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over design quality
