BeingUser is a boutique recruitment partner specialising in design hiring for product companies in India.
We work closely with design leaders, hiring managers and product teams to help them find the right design talent. Over time we’ve built a trusted network within the design community and a curated talent pool of designers across many product companies.
BeingUser was started by Sanjay Raval, a product designer turned design recruiter who has spent more than a decade working closely with designers and design teams.
Your work will focus on understanding designers and helping companies find the right talent.
Typical responsibilities include:
→ understanding hiring requirements from product companies
→ identifying and reaching out to potential design candidates
→ reviewing portfolios and candidate profiles to understand their strengths
→ speaking with designers about their work, motivations and career journeys
→ mapping suitable candidates from our talent pool to open roles
→ maintaining structured candidate insights in our talent database (ATS)
→ coordinating interviews between candidates and hiring teams
→ supporting candidates through the hiring process and ensuring a positive candidate experience
Over time you will develop expertise in evaluating design talent and matching designers to the right teams.

→ is curious about product design, design teams and the tech ecosystem
→ understands how tech companies and digital products are built

Candidates from recruitment, HR, design, research, community or people-focused roles may all find this role interesting.
→ prior experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
→ familiarity with product design, UX design or user research roles
→ experience working with tech or product teams
→ background in design-related fields such as architecture, industrial design, UX research, content design or similar areas
Recruitment experience is helpful, but curiosity about people and design is equally important.
Recruitment involves a mix of conversations, analysis and operational coordination.
A typical week may include sourcing profiles, reviewing portfolios, speaking with designers, documenting candidate insights and keeping candidates warmed and engaged.
People who enjoy understanding people, spotting patterns in talent and working in a structured way usually find this role rewarding.

Salary range: ₹6–12 LPA depending on experience and fit.
