We’re looking for a Design Engineer with strong visual instincts and refined taste to shape how people experience Laravel, across the website, campaigns, and every branded moment in between. You’ll play a key role in making our sites lively, interactive, and beautiful.

Developer Relations’ goal is to help present the best foot forward between Laravel and its strong and passionate community of builders. You need to be comfortable diving in, converting Figma designs to code, and bringing designs to life with motion and animation.

We are looking for somebody that obsesses over elegant code and pixel perfection.

In this role, you will…

  • Converting Figma designs into clean, elegant code
  • Bringing designs to life with motion and animation
  • Ensuring pixel-perfect implementation of visual designs
  • Enhancing user experience through thoughtful interaction design
  • Contributing to Laravel's website and marketing campaigns

Requirements

You’ll be a great fit if you…

  • 3+ experience building production-scale web applications, with deep expertise in Next.js, React, TypeScript, and modern front-end architecture.
  • Taste. You have a strong aesthetic sense and care deeply about the nuance of spacing, animation, typography, and interaction fidelity.
  • Demonstrated experience building polished, high-performance user interfaces admired for their clarity and speed.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to productively partner with designers, backend engineers, and product leaders.
  • A bias toward iteration: prototype fast, refine continuously, and ship without compromising on quality.
  • Have a strong portfolio that shows taste, clarity, and range
  • Are comfortable designing across brand and web
  • Have experience turning ideas into real things
