The Brand & Design Lead will lay the groundwork for this shift by crafting a cohesive, emotion-driven product identity and driving design innovation that strengthens usability, clarity, and product excellence.
What you’ll be doing:
● Set the vision and direction for Angkas’ design and brand expression across all engagement products.
● Shape, evolve, and scale the design and brand expression of Angkas’ customer and driver products.
● Lead the experience design of a high-traffic platform serving millions of users, ensuring clarity, consistency, and emotional resonance across all touchpoints.
● Simplify complex operational features into intuitive, emotionally resonant flows.
● Drive the creation of new design patterns, interaction models, and brand elements in partnership with Marketing, Ops, and Product Managers.
● Invent new design patterns, interaction moments, and brand assets that move the Angkas product forward.
● Partner deeply with Product, Ops, and Marketing to drive cohesive brand impact and business results.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Design, Psychology, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
7+ years in product design (UI/UX) and at least 2 years leading design direction with:
Specialized skills:
a. Capable of influencing cross-functional stakeholders and leadership, thought leader on design and brand
b. Portfolio showing examples of design work that increased user pride, motivation, behavior change, or emotional engagement.
