📋 Core Responsibilities

 

The role is a blend of administrative tasks and direct clinical support:

Patient Flow: Greeting and checking in patients, medical history and medication intake, preparing exam rooms, and scheduling follow-ups.

Clinical Support: Obtaining vital signs,  collecting and processing specimens.

Procedures: Assisting with procedures (office surgeries, cosmetic injections, dermatologic treatments).

Documentation: Scribing patient visits for clinicians and maintaining confidentiality.

Communication: Answering phones and triaging patient calls.

 

✅ Essential Qualifications

 

To be considered, you must meet these criteria:

Academic Status: Must be in the last year of undergraduate studies in biological or physical sciences with at least a 3.6 GPA.

Knowledge: Familiarity with medical terminology and basic medical procedures.

Soft Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, organizational/multitasking skills, and a high willingness to learn and accept constructive criticism.

Technical: Proficient in computer skills.

Advanced Learning: Opportunity to learn the medical management of complex oncological cases, including charting and coding mechanisms.

Professional Development: Attendance at monthly Tumor Board and cosmetic surgery meetings.
