Deputy sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our operations in a dynamic and competitive environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales management, particularly within the automation sector, with a focus on IA products. This role requires a proven track record in B2B sales, OEM sales, and P&L management, ensuring not only meets but exceeds its sales targets, providing exceptional service to our customers and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.

 

 

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve branch sales goals and growth targets.
  • Manage the sales team, providing coaching, guidance, and motivation to drive performance.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key customers, understand their needs, and address any issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance brand visibility and generate leads in the market.
  • Analyse sales metrics and report on performance to senior management, using insights to refine strategies.
  • Identify new market opportunities and implement plans to penetrate these markets effectively.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technology advancements in automation, particularly involving Schneider products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (BE) or related field.
  • Minimum 10 to 12 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the Industrial automation industry.
  • Preferably – experience in handling Schneider Electric – Industrial Automation products.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Deep understanding of B2B sales processes and OEM sales dynamics.
  • Proven ability to manage P&L responsibilities and drive business results.
  • Strong analytical skills with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
