The Deputy Head, Business Development is a key strategic leader responsible for driving aggressive revenue growth for Digital Marketing (Media) and Influencer Marketing solutions in Thailand. Your primary mission is to personally lead high-value sales, define market strategy, and cultivate robust, client relationships and agency partners. You will lead and mentor the sales team to consistently exceed targets and strategically integrate AnyMind Group’s solutions into complex client business goals. 

 

What You'll Do

Strategic Sales & Revenue Leadership (Primary Focus)

    • Lead and drive the strategic business development initiatives to significantly grow market share for Digital Media (Media Buying) and Influencer Marketing, ensuring strong and sustainable revenue generation.
    • Set and control the direction of the sales pipeline, consistently meeting or exceeding ambitious revenue targets (KPIs) and growth objectives.
    • Identify, qualify, and successfully close high-value new business opportunities with both direct clients and through agency networks.
    • Negotiate and finalize complex contracts and business terms with senior client and partner stakeholders to maximize profitability.
    • Utilize a deep understanding of all AnyMind Group solutions to pitch and deliver integrated, comprehensive solutions that solve complex client business challenges.

 

Executive Client & Brand Relationship Management

    • Build, maintain, and elevate strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, including C-class executives.
    • Serve as a Trusted Advisor to clients by deeply understanding their complex business goals and proposing highly tailored, strategic marketing plans.
    • Oversee and be accountable for the overall client experience and satisfaction throughout the entire engagement lifecycle (End-to-End).
    • Deliver compelling and persuasive presentations of sophisticated marketing strategies and business proposals clearly and confidently in both Thai and high-level, executive English.

 

Team Leadership & Strategic Development

    • Lead, mentor, and inspire the Business Development and Account Management teams to achieve peak sales performance and professional growth (focusing on sales capability and strategic acumen).
    • Develop and implement effective workflow structures and processes within the team and across departments to ensure speed, efficiency, and clarity.
    • Manage team workload, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Strategic Planning, Creative, Ad Operations) to ensure seamless execution of integrated campaigns.
    • Regularly monitor and report on team performance, sales forecasts, and market trends to senior management.

 

Market Expertise & Innovation

    • Proactively track and evaluate emerging trends in Digital Marketing, Influencer Marketing, and AdTech/MarTech.
    • Drive innovation in new marketing solutions and service packaging to enhance sales opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
    • Conduct deep analysis of campaign performance and market data to provide high-level strategic counsel to clients.

 

Who You Are

Experience & Leadership

  • Work Experience: A minimum of 10+ years of total experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management within the Digital Marketing, Advertising Agency, or AdTech/MarTech industries.
  • Leadership Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in direct people management and successfully leading teams of 4-10+ individuals.

 

Industry & Functional Expertise

  • Industry Expertise: Deep, verifiable expertise and a strong proven track record in selling and strategizing for Digital Marketing (Media Planning/Buying) and Influencer Marketing.
  • Strategic Acumen: Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the capacity to translate complex data into clear, actionable business strategies that deliver measurable results.
  • Innovation: Demonstrated experience in adopting and utilizing AI tools or innovative technology.

 

Education & Language

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Language Proficiency: Exceptional, near-native proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is mandatory, with a proven ability to communicate, negotiate, and present confidently to international C-suite and senior executive levels.
