AYANA Hospitality is looking for a dependable and experienced Deputy Chief Engineering to join our team. In this key leadership role, you will assist the Chief Engineer in overseeing all maintenance and engineering operations across our resorts, ensuring that all facilities operate efficiently and meet safety standards. Your contributions will play a vital part in maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chief Engineer in managing daily operations of the Engineering Department.
• Help develop and implement maintenance programs and schedules for all hotel equipment and systems.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify issues, provide solutions, and recommend improvements.
• Supervise engineering staff, ensuring tasks are correctly assigned and executed in a timely manner.
• Assist in managing the annual budget related to engineering and maintenance.
• Maintain relationships with contractors and vendors to ensure quality service at optimal costs.
• Foster a positive team environment and promote adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the engineering and maintenance field, preferably in a hospitality environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of hotel systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to maintenance.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with other departments and staff.
• Familiarity with budget management and project coordination.
