Vivo Energy Madagascar is hiring a Depot Manager. Based in Toamasina, the Depot Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations at our depot, ensuring we uphold the highest standards of HSSEQ, operational efficiency, maintenance of facilities and customer service as per the Vivo Energy Group standards and procedure and local regulation. As the Depot Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team and driving operational excellence while aligning with our strategic goals to deliver outstanding products and services to our valuable customers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily depot operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards (product receipt, storage, distribution of petroleum products at Plant Site)
- Manage stocks by carrying out daily reconciliation of products into the ERP system
- Prepare Depot Operations Budgets and ensure continuous monitoring on costs
- Collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to align depot operations with company objectives and customer needs
- Implement and maintain a proactive HSSEQ culture, monitor performance against targets and take in charge HSSE KPIs commitment from the customer
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate supply chain logistics to ensure adequate stock availability
- Monitor the product quality (received and supplied)
- Manage the design, construction, procurement and maintenance of equipment and facility
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.
- Evaluate operational performance and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage and lead a team of staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations
- Liaise with external stakeholders and develop good working relationships with Authorities
- Provide first level of troubleshooting response for Measurement System at loading gantry and tank farm
Requirements
- Master degree in Transport, Logistics, Mechanical or Industrial engineer or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in depot or warehouse management, Supply and Distribution, Road transport or Plant operations within the oil and energy sector.
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines while maintaining high standards.
- Familiarity with HSSEQ regulations and best practices in the oil and energy industry.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
