Shift5 is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deployment Strategist to join our growing team. This role is crucial in ensuring the success and satisfaction of our customers by providing exceptional support and enabling customers to see the value that Shift5 provides. The ideal candidate will have a Defense background, a deep understanding of warfighter needs,  and the ability to provide insightful feedback to our internal teams. The overall goal of this role is to grow Shift5's presence in our Army programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Build, maintain, and expand relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, goals, and challenges.
  • Discovery: Identify and document new use cases, pain points, and opportunities where Shift5's products can add value to customers.
  • Interaction with Operational Personas: Engage with various customer personas, including senior officers, cybersecurity professionals, maintainers, pilots, and other key stakeholders, to gather comprehensive insights and feedback.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by customers in a timely and effective manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and communicate customer success stories and areas for improvement, providing insights and recommendations to internal teams.
  • Feedback Loop: Serve as the primary feedback source to internal teams on customer successes, product feedback, and new opportunities for sales to pursue.
  • Demonstrations: Drive the direction of customer facing demonstrations to showcase Shift5 product capabilities
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Sales/Account Executives, Field Engineering, and Program Managers to ensure a cohesive approach to customer success.
  • Goal Achievement: Actively contribute to the growth of Shift5's presence in Army programs by identifying and leading expansion opportunities while collaborating with internal teams to realize them.
  • Travel : Travel up to 40-50% in the US required for this role.

Qualifications :

  • Experience: Client relationship management, product management, or a related field, with a focus or interest in the defense industry.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of the defense sector and its unique challenges and requirements.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Attributes: Strong strategic thinking, a proactive approach, and a client-focused mindset.
  • Security Clearance: Ability to get a TS/SCI clearance
  • Preferred Experience: Prior military experience or deep experience working with the military is a strong plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $150,000-$190,000
