We are looking for a QC Manager to join our rapidly growing, venture-backed company. This leader will oversee quality control workflows, equipment, systems, and team members across both manual fabrication processes and advanced automated production lines within our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Provo, Utah.
In this role, you will manage a team of 50+ QC technicians and quality professionals responsible for ensuring products meet the highest standards of precision, consistency, and performance. You will play a critical role in building and scaling a “Gold Standard QC Department” that supports aggressive growth targets while maintaining operational excellence.

Drive Operational Excellence: Lead quality control across multiple production environments, including manual fabrication processes and automated manufacturing lines.
Scale Systems: Continuously improve workflows, inspection processes, and quality systems to optimize efficiency, throughput, and scalability.
Data-Driven Optimization: Track KPIs, analyze trends, and conduct root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products.
Problem Solve: Proactively troubleshoot and resolve people, process, equipment, and technology challenges in a large-scale production environment.
Quality Standards & Compliance: Monitor and enforce adherence to manufacturing quality standards, SOPs, and process controls. Lead by example to uphold rigorous quality expectations.
Lead & Develop Talent: Build, coach, and scale a team of 50+ technicians. Provide ongoing training, feedback, and performance management to elevate capability and consistency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Operations, Automation, and Corporate Quality teams to proactively identify and execute high-impact improvement initiatives.
5+ years of experience leading Quality in a manufacturing, production, or technical environment
Strong understanding of quality systems, process controls, and continuous improvement methodologies
High comfort level with digital tools, production technology, and automated systems
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive action
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational discipline
Ability to maintain and enforce clean, controlled production environments
Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence across multiple stakeholders
Excellent communication and team development skills
Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
Strong visual acuity, including depth perception and color differentiation
Manual dexterity and coordination as required in a manufacturing environment
