  • Develop, manage, and maintain detailed IT project plans, schedules, and resource allocations aligned with retail business priorities.
  • Monitor milestones and deliverables to ensure projects meet defined scope, quality, and timelines.
  • Track and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple retail functions.
  • Deliver clear and consistent project updates tailored for executives, store leaders, IT teams, vendors, and cross-functional business units.
  • Prepare polished project presentations and reports—even under tight deadlines.
  • Drive coordination between IT, store operations, logistics, merchandising, e‑commerce, and external partners.
  • Adapt plans and approaches quickly in response to seasonality, promotional cycles, and changing retail business needs.
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and updated.
  • Support major cutovers, go‑lives, and seasonal retail events that may require long or unusual work hours.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of IT project management experience, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage detailed project timelines and deliverables.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical information for non‑technical retail stakeholders.
  • Strong flexibility and responsiveness to dynamic business environments.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or Smartsheet.
  • Ability to create executive-ready presentations quickly (PowerPoint or equivalent).
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Willingness to support extended or irregular work hours during critical retail operational periods (e.g., seasonal events, system cutovers).
  • PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, or related certification.
  • Experience working with POS, ERP, OMS, WMS, e‑commerce, or omnichannel retail systems.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methods, and cloud‑based retail solutions.
