Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join our VEG team, responsible for developing and managing demand forecasts for our seeds portfolio. The role involves driving S&OP meetings, collaborating with Sales, marketing, Finance and supply chain teams to ensure right forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the Div S&OP Process for Short term forecasting for SA and SEA territories
  2. Lead Country S&OP process
  3. IBP submissions on WD3 and WD7
  4. LP finalisation with Country Head/ Finance BP/ Mktg Head
  5. MBR preparations and participation.
  6. Forecast accuracy calculation and sensitization at Business Manager level by continuously facilitating them in Div S&OP forums
  7. Handling Long term forecasting(3years), Strategic forecasting (5years)
  8. Budgeting
  9. Handling material creation process in SKUpmin
  10. Range rationalization
  11. Involvement in Pricing exercise and Pmin monitoring
  12. Preparing and Sharing reports to key stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree / MBA / Masters in Supply Chain Management/ Statistics

Advanced excel skills

Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)

Knowledge of PowerBi for creating Reports and Interactive Dashboards

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in demand planning
  • Proficiency in Excel and statistical forecasting tools
