POSITION SUMMARY:

The Demand Generation Specialist plays a critical executional and operational role within the Marketing team, supporting the development, deployment, and optimization of multi-channel demand generation programs. This position is responsible for building and maintaining HubSpot workflows, landing pages, and nurtures; ensuring accurate campaign setup and attribution; and delivering reliable performance reporting that drives data-backed decision-making.

Working closely with the Director of Demand Generation, external media partners, and internal cross-functional stakeholders, this role ensures that campaigns launch smoothly, leads flow properly to Sales, and marketing data is clean, consistent, and actionable. The specialist also contributes to ongoing process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives across the marketing tech stack.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Build and maintain HubSpot marketing automation workflows, landing pages, forms, and email nurtures that support both paid and organic campaigns.
  • Assist in campaign setup, QA, and launch—ensuring accurate tagging, lead routing, and attribution across HubSpot and Salesforce.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze conversion trends, and recommend quick-turn optimization opportunities.
  • Maintain campaign documentation and support cross-channel alignment with internal teams and agency partners.
  • Ensure leads are captured, scored, and distributed correctly; proactively identify and troubleshoot routing or process issues.
  • Maintain and enhance campaign dashboards and performance reports in HubSpot and Salesforce, ensuring data accuracy and visibility across the funnel.
  • Automate recurring reporting processes to reduce manual work and deliver consistent KPI updates.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks within marketing workflows and propose technology or process improvements.
  • Support documentation of best practices related to campaign setup, data hygiene, and performance analysis.
  • Maintain data integrity across marketing and sales systems.
  • Assist in automating simple, recurring tasks such as reporting, campaign handoffs, and scheduled email sends.
  • Explore emerging tools, trends, and techniques that may increase marketing efficiency or performance.

COMPETENCIES:

Knowledge:  

  • 3–5 years of experience in demand generation, marketing operations, or a similar digital marketing role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of demand generation principles, funnel metrics, and lead lifecycle management.
  • Strong understanding and aptitude for AI and how it can be applied within the marketing function to create gains in demand generation performance and marketing efficiency / productivity. 
  • Additional certifications in HubSpot, Salesforce, digital marketing, or marketing operations are a plus.
  • Continuous learning mindset with an interest in emerging marketing technologies, automation, and analytics.
  • Working knowledge of marketing operations best practices, including lead routing, scoring, attribution, and CRM/marketing automation integrations.
  • Familiarity with paid media channels (search, social, display) and how they contribute to full-funnel performance.
  • Solid grasp of data hygiene, campaign taxonomy, and reporting structures in HubSpot and Salesforce.
  • Understanding of A/B testing methodologies and basic optimization strategies.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in HubSpot (workflows, email nurtures, forms, landing pages, reporting) and practical experience with Salesforce for lead and campaign data.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend actionable insights.
  • High attention to detail, especially in campaign QA, tagging, documentation, and performance tracking.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent campaigns and deadlines.
  • Effective cross-functional communication skills—comfortable collaborating with Sales, media agencies, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to automate recurring tasks and streamline processes using tooling within HubSpot, Salesforce, or complementary platforms (Zapier, Google Sheets, etc.).
  • Intermediate Excel/Google Sheets skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas).

  • Executes campaigns end-to-end with accuracy, speed, and consistent QA rigor.
  • Troubleshoots lead flow issues, data discrepancies, routing errors, and workflow failures across marketing and sales systems.

MANAGEMENT/ SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role does not have any management or supervisory responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Location: Quincy, MA Headquarters
  • Conditions: General office environment with moderate noise levels. Occasional travel to aircraft or client locations may be required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Regular use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and video conferencing tools.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally (for event or marketing materials).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for client-facing interactions

TRAVEL:

This Demand Generation Specialist position offers a competitive annual salary of $85,000–$90,000. Final compensation is determined by experience and location, and the role is eligible for Magellan Jets’ full benefits package.
