Role Summary

We are seeking a Professional Services Data Solutions Architect to design, implement, and deliver modern data solutions for customers. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, cloud architecture, and customer engagement, partnering closely with Professional Services, Sales, and Product teams to ensure successful customer outcomes. You will translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing data architectures while acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle.

Travel requirements : 1-2 times a quarter

Key Responsibilities

Customer Delivery & Architecture

• Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end data solutions, including ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and analytics layers
• Translate customer business requirements into technical architectures and implementation plans
• Own technical solutioning during Professional Services engagements, from discovery through delivery and handoff
• Set clear expectations with customers on the next steps and then meet or exceed them
• Ensure solutions align with best practices for scalability, reliability, security, and cost optimization
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues related to the Prophecy IDE
• Assist with issues around third-party integrations with the Prophecy environment

Collaboration & Enablement

• Partner with Sales and Solutions Engineering during pre-sales for technical discovery, solution validation, and scoping
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to provide customer feedback and influence roadmap priorities
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation guides

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data architecture
• 2+ years of experience in professional services or customer facing consulting role delivering data solutions
• Hands on DBT experience
• Advanced skills in Spark
• Strong work experience in production issue resolution 
• You have built managed and maintained all aspects of ETL including development, bug fixing, monitoring and debugging of jobs
• Expert in Spark architecture and experience with Databricks/Snowflake environment configuration and management
• Experience with Git and CI/CD technologies
• Technology experience in SQL, Databricks/ Hadoop/ Spark Experienced in a variety of tools and products including Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure, Hadoop, CDP etc.
• The ability to break down complex technical concepts and communicate them to stakeholders verbally and in writing
