About The Opportunity
Email deliverability is the backbone of any email marketing platform - it determines whether our customers’ messages reach the inbox, earn visibility, and drive results. We are looking for a Deliverability Lead to turn deliverability into a strategic advantage, elevating email performance across our platform while strengthening customer outcomes and building company-wide excellence in deliverability.
What you will do:
- Own and evolve email performance metrics across the platform, including email engagement, spam and complaint rate, and other health signals.
- Proactively monitor deliverability systems, investigate anomalies, spot trends, and drive continuous improvements using internal data and external research.
- Serve as the company’s deliverability expert, leading cross-functional efforts to diagnose and resolve deliverability-related incidents and requests quickly and effectively.
- Define and maintain deliverability best practices, and educate teams through documentation, training, and hands-on guidance to embed deliverability knowledge into everything we do.
What you need to be successful
-
Problem solving: Exceptional problem solver who can zoom out to assess system-wide deliverability impact and zoom in to diagnose root causes.
-
Data Analysis: Strong data interpretation skills to monitor metrics (bounce, spam complaints, engagement trends) and advise on strategic improvements. Ability to conduct audits of campaigns, infrastructure, and sender health and recommend corrective actions.
-
Deliverability expertise: Willing to gain deep understanding of email deliverability, such as email infrastructure, ISP behavior, and anti-spam regulations. Familiarize and master the use of email deliverability tools, such as Google Postmaster tools, SNDS, Spamhaus and many more.
-
Excellent communicator who can resolve issues quickly, align cross-functional teams, and deliver clear training to raise deliverability knowledge across the company.
