What we are looking for

This is a great opportunity to utilise your experience within DeFi/Crypto on a larger scale in terms of projects and capital. What does that mean? You’ll be exposed to new strategies and interface with a wide network of partners.The cryptocurrency market displays an additional level of complexity, which presents many interesting technical challenges requiring novel solutions across Market Making, OTC, Ventures and/or Arbitrage strategies. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Directly manage one of our defi trading books during Asian hours, including all operational and trading-related issues as they occur in real-time
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of DeFi protocols to identify potential trading opportunities and risks.
  • Explore opportunities to work with projects that align with our strategic goals.
  • Work closely with the rest of our global trading and middle office teams to ensure trades are booked correctly, and reconciled between front and back office systems
  • Assist in the improvement of existing trading strategies, as well as research/development of new strategies
  • Provide advisory support to the team on emerging trends and technologies in the DeFi space.
  • Perform on-chain analysis to see behaviours of other participants.
  • Develop models and tools to automate daily tasks 

Position Requirements:

  • We are seeking traders with strong quantitative backgrounds who think in terms of probabilities and expected value
  • You’ll have experience in the design, development, testing and coding of trading strategies
  • Deep understanding of DeFi, blockchain technology and cryptocurrency markets.
  • Experience coding with Python (or other relevant languages)
  • Bachelor's Degree or above in Math, Computer Science, Statistics, Quantitative Sciences and Engineering or related disciplines
