Job Description

As a Debian and Container Development Engineer, you will be part of the R&D team developing Torizon OS and its associated development tools and ecosystem, part of which is open-sourced.

Your focus will be on Debian Packages and Containers for Torizon, and you will be responsible for maintaining the Debian-based Docker images - specialized to leverage the graphics stack and hardware acceleration - and the Debian packages for embedded SoCs vendor-specific features like GPU, NPU, VPU, and the upstream community packages.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Write and update Debian packages for downstream SoC vendor packages.
  • Contribute to upstream Debian packages related to features supported by Torizon.
  • Create and maintain existing Debian-based Docker container images for Torizon.
  • Maintain and improve the packages and containers' automated build and test infrastructure.
  • Continuously improve DevOps best practices
