Responsibilities:
Deal Structuring and Pricing Support
Assist sales teams in structuring deals, ensuring alignment with company policies and profitability goals
Provide guidance on pricing strategies, discounting, and contract terms
Review and approve commercial proposals, ensuring alignment with internal policies and controls
Review and approve non-standard deal terms and pricing exceptions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Sales, and Operations to streamline deal processes and ensure compliance with internal policies and controls
Facilitate communication between departments to expedite deal approvals.
Process Improvement and Documentation
Develop and maintain documentation for deal processes and policies
Implement system enhancements (e.g., CPQ, Salesforce) to enhance efficiency
Identify areas for process improvement and drive initiatives to optimize deal closing activities
Data Analysis and Reporting
Analyze deal metrics to assess performance and identify trends
Provide insights to support strategic decision-making
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as deal velocity and win rates
Training and Support
Educate sales teams on deal desk processes and best practices
Offer support during deal negotiations and approvals, particularly during end of quarter
Act as a resource for questions related to deal structuring and compliance
These responsibilities ensure that the Deal Desk function effectively supports the sales organization, enhances operational efficiency, and contributes to the company's revenue growth.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in a Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or related function, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven environment
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Proven ability to analyze complex commercial terms and structure deals that balance customer needs with internal policies and business goals
Strong understanding of contract management, pricing models, and revenue recognition principles
Familiarity with CRM and CPQ systems, especially Salesforce and Linksquares
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
High level of business acumen, with the ability to support strategic deal-making and assess risk
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interacting with cross-functional stakeholders including Legal, Finance, and Sales leadership
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving environment, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
