DataOps Engineer

 Nitka Technologies develops software for customers in the US and Europe and brings together about 300 professionals from Eastern Europe, North and South America, Armenia, Georgia and Kazakhstan.

We are looking for an experienced DataOps Engineer for a long-term project. The customer is a company in California, an industry leader in the sale of tickets to events in Europe and the USA. 

We offer 100%  remote, full-time work  

 Tasks:

• Support for data warehouses and ETL processes
• Support for infrastructure and tools for developing and running ETL processes
• Monitoring the performance of infrastructure and services, optimizing performance
• Analysis of technical problems and participation in their solution
• Interaction with a team from the USA (daily calls)

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in developing and supporting ETL processes
• Excellent knowledge of SQL
• Experience with any scripting language (python, perl, ...) or a development language (java, c++, c#, ...) at the level of creating/editing small scripts
• Experience with one of the Task Schedulers/Orchestrator (Rundeck, Airflow, SQL Activity Monitor, etc)
• An additional plus will be experience with BigData, Databricks, Spark, Hadoop
• Experience with AWS services(S3, Lambda, Secret manager etc.) will be a plus
• Nice to have experience with MFT tools (GoAnyWhere or any other)
• Strong spoken English (Intermediate level and higher)
