We are seeking a Business Analyst for our Market & Trading Data team within the Global Markets CIO. This support position will be instrumental in projects related to the Datalake PreTrade & Execution on electronic trading platforms, including Forex, Fixed Income, and Equities. 

In this role, the Business Analyst will interact with electronic trading platforms and gather user needs from traders, sales teams, and compliance personnel. You will be responsible for writing functional specifications, conducting tests, monitoring projects related to the Datalake, and providing functional support to users. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Engage with electronic trading platforms to gather and analyze user needs. 
  • Write detailed functional specifications based on user requirements. 
  • Conduct testing to ensure functionality and usability. 
  • Monitor and manage ongoing projects related to the Datalake. 
  • Provide functional support to users, addressing inquiries and issues. 
  • Experience as a support or project manager in electronic trading and/or market access. 
  • Knowledge of trading platforms: Forex, Fixed Income, and/or Equities. 
  • Familiarity with market connectivity protocols, particularly FIX; knowledge of ION is a plus. 
  • Strong understanding of financial products: Forex, Bonds, Fixed Income, Equities, and Derivatives. 
  • Good grasp of financial market operations, including orders/RFQs and order books. 
  • Proficient in SQL; knowledge of Power BI is a plus. 

Soft Skills: 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a penchant for data visualization tools. 
  • Proactive approach and strong attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, supporting other team members. 
  • Self-management and organizational skills are essential.
