Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for a Database Analyst with strong analytical skills and hands-on experience supporting modern application environments. This role is ideal for someone who understands data deeply — how it’s structured, queried, optimized, and consumed — and can work closely with engineering teams to improve performance, integrity, and reliability.

You’ll partner with backend engineers and application teams (including .NET developers) to ensure data systems are scalable, clean, and aligned with business needs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, and maintain relational database systems
  • Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries
  • Support .NET application teams with data modeling and query performance tuning
  • Monitor database health, performance, and security
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and governance best practices
  • Assist in schema design, migrations, and documentation
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects on data-driven solutions

 Some Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years of experience in database analysis or database engineering roles
  • Strong expertise in relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar)
  • Advanced SQL skills (query optimization, indexing, performance tuning)
  • Experience supporting or working within .NET application environments
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and normalization principles
  • Experience troubleshooting production database issues
  • Ability to communicate clearly with engineering and business stakeholders
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)

Other Information

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
