Data Systems Business Analyst

As a Data Systems Business Analyst, you’ll work on innovative products that transform how fund data is managed and accessed, using modern technology in a dynamic, cloud-based environment.

In this role, you’ll be part of our Product and Engineering team—the centre of FE fundinfo—responsible for building software tools, research platforms, document production systems and advanced analytics for financial institutions and advisers. You’ll collaborate with experts across the globe, influence key product decisions, and see your work make a tangible impact on the speed, reliability, and quality of services delivered to clients. Your key responsibilities as a Data Systems Business Analyst will include:

• Driving the agile development of fund data ingestion portals and data management tools using cloud technologies.
• Preparing and documenting clear requirements based on business needs in user stories with precise acceptance criteria.
• Prioritising product functionalities and coordinating development through to successful testing and acceptance.
• Supporting the rollout of new features and processes, including production support.
• Identifying and resolving application errors to ensure continuous product improvement.
• Acting as the main point of contact for stakeholders, managing requirements and expectations effectively.

You will need the following experience and skills to join us as a Data Systems Business Analyst:

• You have proven experience as a Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, or similar role in software product development.
• You turn business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria that enable smooth delivery in Agile environments.
• You are fluent in English and comfortable working with global teams; French is a plus.
• You thrive in cloud-hosted product environments and have a strong interest in modern technologies and APIs.
• You are a collaborative team player with a structured, quality-focused approach to work.
