Job Summary
The Data Specialist role is primarily to lead and execute the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of customer data into our platform. This role is responsible for ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and completeness, working closely with customers and product teams. The role also requires leading data transformations or updates for other initiatives, including projects beyond standard customer data migrations.

Qualifications and Experience
· Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems) preferred or an equivalent combination of education and relatable work experience
· Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
· Understanding of data modelling, schemas, and data normalisation
· Experience working with CSV, XML or flat files
· Experience and desire to work with customers or client-facing teams
· Experience performing data migrations or data transformations
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality
· Ability to work independently while managing multiple migrations or projects
· Clear communication skills, especially when helping articulate issues or requirements
