Data Security Analyst

Nitka Technologies develops software for customers in the US and Europe and brings together about 300 professionals from Eastern Europe, North and South America, Armenia, Georgia and Kazakhstan.

We are looking for an experienced Data Security Analyst for a long-term project. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring effective project management, operational security, compliance, and real-time threat monitoring across our cloud and data platforms. The customer is a company in California, an industry leader in the sale of tickets to events in Europe and the USA.

Main Tasks:

• Provide day-to-day coordination and support for PMO and security operations;
• Security Monitoring and Alert Triage: Actively monitor SIEM dashboards, conduct initial investigations, and contribute to detection engineering requirements;
• Access Management and Reviews: Operational management of data access permissions (e.g., Unity Catalog), executing periodic access reviews;
• Compliance and Incident Support: Collecting evidence for audits, assisting with log analysis and data collection during incidents.

  Requirements: 

• Familiarity with cloud security concepts, particularly within AWS;
• Basic understanding of Databricks functionality and security features;
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel;
• Knowledge of data access controls and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2);
• Strong project coordination and management skills;
• Spoken English (Intermediate level and higher).
