Data Security AI/ML Engineer

Nitka Technologies develops software for customers in the US and Europe and brings together about 300 professionals from Eastern Europe, North and South America, Armenia, Georgia and Kazakhstan.

We are looking for an experienced Data Security AI/ML Engineer for a long-term project. The customer is a company in California, an industry leader in the sale of tickets to events in Europe and the USA. 

 We offer 100% remote, full-time work with a flexible schedule

Main Tasks:

• Develop and deploy machine learning models to detect anomalous behavior in security logs, especially access patterns across platforms like AWS and Databricks;
• Analyze large-scale security data to identify indicators of potential data exfiltration and misuse;
• Continuously refine threat detection models and pipelines based on new signals, feedback, and threat intelligence;
• Support the automation of response workflows based on anomaly detection outputs.

  Requirements: 

• Proven experience applying AI/ML techniques to cybersecurity or large-scale anomaly detection use cases;
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (especially AWS and Databricks) with an understanding of common security challenges;
• Proficiency in Python and experience working with data science and ML libraries;
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and integrating AI models into real-time monitoring systems;
• Spoken English (Intermediate level and higher)
