About OneLab: OneLab is the integrated laboratory of TECHN1K, offering centralized laboratory services to DevOps teams within DT Technik and Technology Delivery International. Operating from Bonn and Nuremberg, we provide end-to-end test environments and support Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and trials for innovation projects. Our primary goal is to deliver an Observability Platform to all DevOps squads within T-SP.

Your Role: As part of our team, you will support the development of scalable data solutions for internal customers, emphasizing self-service and automation. Your work will empower customers to create and expand their use cases using standardized data onboarding processes and reusable solution components.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Collaboration: Engage directly with internal customers to understand their business challenges, translate them into technical solutions, and present results effectively.
Solution Development: Design scalable and reusable solution architectures rather than one-off prototypes.
Data Engineering: Build and maintain robust data pipelines and onboarding processes for integrating new data sources.
DevOps Integration: Develop GitLab pipelines to automate testing and streamline processes.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including internal customers, SMOPS operations, security, and connectivity teams, to ensure seamless integration and delivery.

What We’re Looking For: We seek a professional with a strong background in data science and data engineering, combined with an interest in DevOps practices. You should be passionate about creating scalable solutions, automating processes, and collaborating with diverse teams to drive innovation and efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related technical fields such as computer science, mathematics, engineering, etc.
Background in Data Science /ML / Advanced Analytics
Experience in NoSQL-Database
Experience with REST-API, or JSON-Data structures
Enhanced Development knowledge in Python
GitLab and CI/CD
Experience in Docker and Kubernetes deployments
Comfortable working with one of these Elastic or OpenSearch
Kaffka
Linux
Fluency in English

You are analytical and solution oriented
Experience working in Agile teams
Strong awareness of data protection and security in general and specifically in the field of automation
