About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our Business Intelligence team spearhead our revenue prediction and forecasting initiatives. As the primary architect of our predictive framework, you will lead the end-to-end modeling lifecycle—from deep-diving into our data warehouses to deploying sophisticated models that quantify the impact of internal features and external economic drivers. This role is central to our mission of becoming a truly predictive organization, requiring you to collaborate closely with Finance and Product stakeholders to transform raw data into a strategic roadmap for growth. Beyond technical delivery, you will act as a mentor to the wider BI team, ensuring long-term sustainability through knowledge transfer. We are looking for an ownership-minded specialist who excels at solving complex statistical problems and communicating actionable insights directly to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding of machine learning fundamentals (supervised vs. unsupervised learning, model evaluation, feature engineering).
  • Experience designing and applying predictive analytics or simple ML models (e.g., regression, classification, clustering) to business problems using Python.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify key revenue drivers and translate business logic into high-performing features (Feature Engineering).
  • Perform complex data extraction and manipulation within our Snowflake environment.
  • Utilize machine learning libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, XGBoost, Prophet) to improve model accuracy and reliability.
  • Visualize model outputs and provide actionable insights.
  • Document the modeling process, data lineage, and methodology to ensure transparency and internal knowledge transfer.

Requirements

  • BSc/MSc in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Data Science or Advanced Analytics with a focus on time-series forecasting or predictive financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in Python for data science and modeling.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake.
  • Proven ability to work with non-technical business partners to define requirements and deliver analytical solutions.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice to Have  

  • Experience within the music, media, or entertainment industry.
  • Experience in building and maintaining production-level BI dashboards (ideally Tableau).
  • Familiarity with Git for version control.
