We are looking for a highly experienced Senior AI/ML Engineer with 10+ years of proven expertise across classical machine learning and modern AI/deep learning, with strong specialisation in image processing and computer vision.
The candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for developing, deploying, and scaling AI/ML solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and deployment of end-to-end AI/ML solutions, including both classical ML models (regression, classification, clustering, time-series) and advanced AI models (deep learning, transformers, GANs).
Architect and implement scalable image processing/computer vision systems (OCR, object detection, segmentation, recognition, image enhancement).
Drive the adoption of MLOps best practices – model lifecycle management, CI/CD for ML, monitoring, retraining pipelines.
Build scalable data and ML workflows on GCP stack – Vertex AI, BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and research teams to translate business problems into AI-driven solutions.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on AI/ML projects.
Continuously research and evaluate new algorithms, tools, and trends in AI/ML and image processing.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in AI/ML, including classical ML and advanced AI/deep learning.
Strong programming skills in Python, with expertise in frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, OpenCV, Scikit-learn.
Proven experience in image processing/computer vision applications.
Hands-on expertise in GCP stack (Vertex AI, AI Platform, BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, GKE).
Strong background in data engineering concepts, feature engineering, and model optimization.
Solid understanding of algorithms, statistics, and mathematical foundations of ML/AI.
