This role will be responsible for owning the company’s data infrastructure and business intelligence layer. The main focus is on backend data work: ETL processes, data quality, system integrations, and ensuring that operational, financial, and clinical data flows into a centralized BI environment (Domo). This position is critical to enable scalability, reporting accuracy, and long-term audit readiness.
📍 Location: Providencia, Guadalajara, Mexico (3 days per week in the office)

Key responsibilities
- Own and maintain ETL processes across multiple systems including EHR, ERP, payroll, and CRM platforms.
- Design, build, and optimize SQL queries and data pipelines to ensure accurate and reliable data flow.
- Integrate multiple enterprise systems into a centralized BI environment, ensuring data consistency and traceability.
- Work directly with raw data to identify, troubleshoot, and correct data issues at the source.
- Serve as the technical owner of the BI environment, including data models, metrics, and dashboards.
- Partner with accounting, operations, and leadership teams to define KPIs and reporting needs, including REIT and investor reporting.
- Design scalable data structures to support portfolio growth, acquisitions, and operational complexity.
- Document data flows, transformations, and BI processes to reduce operational risk and single-point dependency.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship as the BI function grows.

Requirements
Required qualifications (must-have):
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL, including complex queries and performance optimization.
- Proven experience building and maintaining ETL processes across multiple data sources.
- Experience integrating multiple systems (ERP, EHR, payroll, CRM, or similar enterprise platforms) into a BI or analytics environment.
- Ability to work directly with raw, unstructured, or imperfect data and resolve data quality issues at the source.
- Technical background in data engineering, data science, or backend-focused business intelligence (not reporting-only profiles).
- Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-growing, evolving environment with limited existing structure.
- Strong documentation skills for data processes, controls, and ownership.
- Availability to work aligned with U.S. Central Time business hours.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Domo or similar BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Experience in healthcare, senior living, or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with financial and accounting data (GL, AR, AP, payroll).
- Exposure to audit readiness, compliance, or internal controls supported through data documentation.
