Currently, we are hiring a Data Quality Expert for one of our partner organizations in KSA on a 1-year contract, offering the opportunity to contribute to exciting projects within a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define and implement an Enterprise Data Quality Strategy and Framework aligned with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain Data Quality KPIs and Scorecards (completeness, accuracy, timeliness, consistency, uniqueness, integrity).
  • Design and implement automated data quality rules, validations, and monitoring processes.
  • Establish data profiling practices to proactively identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Create and maintain Data Quality dashboards for real-time monitoring and alerts.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and data stewards to define data standards and acceptance criteria.
  • Develop data issue management workflows and remediation procedures.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring data quality problems and ensure corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi data regulations (PDPL, NDMO) in all data processes.
  • Implement data quality controls across data pipelines and source systems.
  • Define and enforce data quality checkpoints throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Document data quality standards, processes, and governance playbooks.
  • Lead data quality assessments, audits, and maturity evaluations.
  • Provide training and awareness programs on data quality best practices.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Data Architects to embed quality standards in architecture and data models.
  • Support Data Scientists and Analytics teams by ensuring access to clean and reliable data.
  • Participate in establishing a Data Stewardship program and community of practice.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in data quality processes and performance metrics.
  • Evaluate, select, and recommend data quality tools and technologies.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field (required).
  • Master’s degree in Data Management, Information Quality, or Business Analytics (preferred).
  • Professional certifications such as DAMA CDMP, DGSP, Informatica Data Quality, or ISO 8000 are a plus.

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in data quality, data governance, or master data management.
  • Strong understanding of data quality dimensions, metrics, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Data Quality tools (e.g., Informatica DQ, Talend, Ataccama, Collibra, Dataplex).
  • Proficiency in SQL and data analysis techniques for quality assessment.
  • Experience with data profiling, cleansing, and standardization.
  • Knowledge of metadata management, data lineage, and stewardship frameworks.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia (PDPL, NDMO).
  • Experience integrating data quality frameworks into cloud platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake).
  • Knowledge of data catalog solutions, business glossaries, and metadata tools.
  • Familiarity with real-time data validation, API quality checks, and machine learning for anomaly detection.
  • Understanding of MDM concepts, data observability, and DataOps practices.
  • Experience with insurance or financial services data domains is preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to mentor analysts, data stewards, and technical teams.
  • Certification in Six Sigma or Quality Management is an advantage.
