Data Product Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Product Manager to drive the strategy, development, and delivery of data products within a fast-growing fintech environment. This role focuses on building scalable, compliant, and high-quality data products that support regulatory reporting, risk management, business intelligence, user growth, and data-driven decision-making.

You will work closely with stakeholders across business, data engineering, analytics, and IT to define product vision, prioritize initiatives, and ensure data products deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of data products, including regulatory, risk, and business intelligence use cases
  • Define and manage the data product roadmap, balancing business priorities, regulatory obligations, and technical constraints
  • Partner with stakeholders across Trading, Risk, Marketing, Sales, Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Technology to identify and prioritize data needs
  • Translate regulatory and business requirements into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure data accuracy, lineage, quality, and auditability
  • Drive prioritization decisions with a strong focus on risk, cost control, and business impact
  • Monitor data product performance, usage, and data quality KPIs, and continuously optimize delivery
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders on data product initiatives and delivery status

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Product Manager, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar role focused on data or analytics
  • Strong understanding of data platforms, data pipelines, BI tools, and analytics workflows
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and software engineers
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and familiarity with data modeling concepts
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into actionable data requirements
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management best practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with regulatory reporting, risk data, AML, KYC, or trading-related data products
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Familiarity with modern BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
  • Background in data governance, privacy, or regulatory reporting
  • Experience in data-driven organizations or platform-scale products
