We are now looking for a highly motivated Data Governance Consultant to work in new challenging outsourced projects.

As a Data Governance Consultant, you will work closely with clients, leading and coaching cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize data governance strategies that enable trusted, well-governed data. You will shape roadmaps and guide teams in the end-to-end delivery of data governance projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess current data management and data governance maturity, highlight shortcomings, and recommend practical improvement initiatives.
  • Design and customize data governance operating models, policies, and data stewardship structures.
  • Contribute to data classification, data lineage, and metadata management activities and tools.
  • Help define and implement data quality metrics, controls, and continuous monitoring mechanisms.
  • Conduct interviews and workshops with business and IT stakeholders to uncover challenges around data ownership, access, and data quality.
  • Support the development of business cases and implementation roadmaps for data governance programs.
  • Work within cross-functional teams, advising on data governance implications for architecture, processes, and operating models.
  • Help shape innovative, differentiated data governance offerings that align with evolving market needs and technology trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Information systems, Data management, or equivalent
  • 3–5 years of cross-industry consulting or data governance experience.
  • Solid understanding of data governance frameworks, data management best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with data engineering concepts, including ETL development, pipelines, and building scalable data solutions.
  • Knowledge of Power BI or other leading BI tools for data visualization and reporting.
  • Experience with data governance and metadata tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation) considered a plus.
