Title: Data Governance Analyst

Department: Legal & Privacy

Reports To: Privacy Counsel

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Location: New York, NY

Job Summary

This role will assist the Privacy Team with a wide variety of projects and research related to key contract terms, product updates, data protection (including privacy and security compliance), and contract management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and summarize vendor and data partner contracts for key terms.
  • Analyze Prove’s solutions and data flows for adherence to any applicable contract terms
  • Assist in ensuring that Prove client contracts address any applicable vendor or data partner contract terms
  • Assist in organizing Privacy team resources, and internal processes.
  • Assist with contract management and organization.
  • Collaborate with the Legal & Privacy team and cross-functional business teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience either as a paralegal or in a similar role
  • Experience with or strong interest in learning data technology details, including data flows, database structure and API documentation
  • Organization and attention to detail
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Ability to multitask on a multitude of projects with minimal supervision
  • Experience with or strong interest in learning about security and privacy-related laws, such as the GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA (preferred but not required)
  • Promote, maintain and enhance our cultural values of humility, passion, inclusion, and leadership.
  • Strong passion for learning about our products and markets through in-house and external training.

The anticipated salary for this role is $65,000 - $95,000. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, geo-location and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
