Job Description:

Axiom Software Solutions Limited is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team in a permanent capacity. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in building scalable data pipelines and contributing to data management and analytics initiatives.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust data solutions that enhance data availability and reliability for business intelligence and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop efficient data pipelines for ETL processes.
  • Optimize and maintain data storage and processing systems.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to understand data needs and requirements.
  • Implement data governance and quality measures across the data lifecycles.
  • Monitor data systems for performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL methodologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Experience with data management tools and technologies like SQL, Hadoop, or Spark.
  • Understanding of cloud data solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
