Data Engineer (Remote - India)

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join a dynamic AI Product Team, working with large-scale datasets to enable cutting-edge AI and machine learning applications. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and actionable data for analytics and AI-driven solutions. You will collaborate closely with data scientists and engineers to optimize workflows, implement transformations, and process structured and unstructured data across cloud platforms. Accountabilities:

• Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines to support data science and AI/ML initiatives.
• Ingest, clean, and transform large volumes of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Ensure data quality, validation, and consistency across datasets.
• Design and optimize ETL pipelines for efficient data processing and management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality datasets.
• Utilize big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Snowflake, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Manage databases using SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, optimizing queries and workflows.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency with relational databases.
• Experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Pandas, or PySpark.
• Proficiency in Python or another scripting language for data workflows.
• Understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, and ETL concepts.
• Ability to clean, transform, and validate large datasets, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Bonus: experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), workflow tools (Airflow, DBT, Kafka), version control systems (Git), unstructured data processing, or preparation of data for ML workflows.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, AI/ML, or a related field.
