Data Engineer

**This is a direct-hire role in Nashville, TN. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Plan to be in the office about four days per week.**

Seeking a Data Engineer Consultant to support migration and ongoing development of data systems, primarily using Snowflake, DBT, and AWS, within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with migration from SQL/Python to Snowflake/DBT.

• Own and deliver projects for one or more business verticals.

• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

• Contribute to architectural decisions and process improvements.

• Ramp up quickly, starting with smaller tasks and progressing to vertical ownership.

• Provide backup support across the team as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Snowflake and DBT.

• Proficiency in SQL.

• Familiarity with AWS or willingness to learn.

• Problem-solving mindset and ability to own projects.

• Ability to work onsite in Nashville (flexible 4/1 or 3/2 schedule).

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Python experience.

• Experience with Azure or GCP cloud platforms.

• Interest or experience in finance/investment industry.

• Prior migration project experience.
