Scale Tech is partnering with a fast-growing fintech company that’s looking to hire a Junior/Mid-Level Data Engineer to join their expanding data team. Responsibilities:
  • Support the development, testing, and maintenance of reliable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
  • Assist in managing and enhancing the company’s data warehouse and related architecture.
  • Work on integrating data from a range of internal and external systems.
  • Help monitor and improve data quality, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate closely with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to make data accessible and actionable.
  • Gain hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, dbt, and Apache Superset under the mentorship of senior engineers.
  • Contribute to team documentation, data best practices, and process improvements.
  • Requirements:
  • 1–3 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and basic proficiency in Python.
  • Some hands-on experience building or maintaining data pipelines (experience with dbt is a plus).
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms, ideally GCP.
  • Understanding of data warehousing principles and data modeling concepts.
  • Comfortable using Git and collaborating in a modern development environment.
  • A proactive, curious attitude and eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.
  • Previous experience in fintech or financial services is an advantage, but not essential.
