Are you passionate about building robust data pipelines and enabling data-driven innovation? As a Data Engineer, you will design and maintain scalable data infrastructure that enables analytics, machine learning, and business insights across DISH. You will work closely with product team, data scientists, analysts, and engineers to shape our data platform and drive impact in the HoReCa industry.

Menu of Responsibilities

This role is part of our Data Insights Team, consisting of 3 Centers of Excellence (CoE) and one platform team. You will be responsible for:

• Defining tools, standards, and team culture within the Data Engineering function. 
• Delivering data products and translating business needs into scalable, cost-efficient solutions while working in squads. 
• Designing and maintaining high-performance data architectures on GCP using BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and developing real-time and batching pipelines with modern ETL/ELT practices. 
• Framing guardrails that enable data scientists and other stakeholders to safely develop and test solutions without impacting production. 
• Utilizing Vertex AI and Model Garden for experimentation and deployment and building Gen AI agents using Langchain and LangGraph. 
• Using DBT for data transformations, Airflow for orchestration, and developing APIs for data ingestion and integration.

Ingredients for Success

You bring very good experience in designing and operating distributed data systems and processing large-scale datasets. Further, you are fluent in Python and SQL, and comfortable working with Java, containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes. More, you have hands-on experience with Google Cloud technologies including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Cloud Run and Pub/Sub.

Additionally, you are familiar with Vertex AI and Model Garden for building and deploying machine learning models. You have built API-based ingestion pipelines and implemented data workflows using Airflow and Spark as well as having experience developing Gen AI agents and working with orchestration frameworks such as Langchain and LangGraph. Lastly, you are fluent in English for efficient communication with key stakeholders.

When you meet the requirements of this role, you can expect an annual salary of approximately 60k.
